blog-cloud-riskMatthew Moore can claim what few others in the still-maturing cloud computing space can claim: direct experience securing a cloud, beyond just the theoretical and postulating. His team has been securing CSC’s private cloud offerings for years.

Moore, Director of Global Security Solutions for the Americas at CSC, oversees a $4.6 billion commercial portfolio with all run-and-maintain, protection and compliance responsibilities falling to him and his team.

CSC hopes to address both those concerns in taking the enterprises into the cloud. Technology is quickly coming online to do that securely, as well.

Video: Value In A Secure Cloud

November 5th, 2009 By John Zeberlein

The one issue you can’t get away from in cloud computing for many of our partners is security.

With CSC’s Trusted Cloud Services, we believe security is “table stakes” to the cloud game —- each provider must be able to offer that.

Our job as integrators and orchestrators is to match the security requirements of the enterprise to the right cloud environment. One cloud might not meet the answer. It could be multiple clouds, or hybrid clouds combining private and public aspects.

How can we address the security concerns of your enterprise? Are they obstacles to migrating to the cloud?
